The Ancra 8mm Grade 70 Slip Hook is a tie-down end fitting that slips quickly and easily onto a chain link or anchor point for a fast, single-action connection. Unlike a winged grab hook, the slip hook does not include cradles on the jaws, which makes it best suited as a chain-end fitting that hooks onto a fixed anchor point rather than a sliding shortening device on the chain itself. It is the practical end fitting when the tie-down assembly needs to be made up and torn down quickly between loads. Manufactured from steel with an electroplated gold finish for corrosion resistance, it carries a 4,000kg lashing capacity and is built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001. Note: this hook is rated for tie-down use only and is not suitable for lifting applications.
