The Ancra Gate Carrier Winch with 50mm x 5m Strap is a compact slide-on winch designed to mount under a trailer body and keep rear tailgates locked closed in transit, supplied complete with a 5-metre polyester strap. An unsecured tailgate that swings open during transit is a serious risk to cargo and following road users — the gate carrier winch holds the tailgate firmly against its frame so that does not happen. The 50mm x 5m polyester strap is rated to 2,500kg, includes wear sleeves to protect against abrasion at contact points, and uses a hook-and-keeper end fitting for a secure connection to the gate. Manufactured from high-quality steel, and compliant with AS/NZS 4380-2001 and AS/NZS 4344-2001.
