The Ancra 13mm Ratchet Loadbinder with Grab Hooks is the heavy-duty top end of Ancra's loadbinder range, sized for 13mm Grade 70 transport chain securing the heaviest legal loads on flatbed transport. The ratchet mechanism — gear, pawl, and handle working together with a screw — multiplies operator force and tensions chain smoothly and progressively, which reduces strain on the back and shoulders compared to lever-style binders. Smooth tensioning also stores less energy in the handle than a lever binder, which significantly reduces kickback risk during release and is the safer choice on heavy chain assemblies. Forged steel winged grab hooks on each end seat onto chain links with cradles that prevent chain deformation and preserve the chain's full 9,000kg lashing capacity. Manufactured from steel with a powder-coated blue finish and built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001.
