The Ancra 50mm Web Dog Tensioner for Chain is a hybrid tie-down device that combines the strength and grip of a chain loadbinder with the smooth, controlled tensioning of a webbing ratchet, designed for jobs where chain is needed against abrasive cargo but a conventional lever binder is too aggressive. Best suited to steel cartage and similar rough loads, the web tensioner reduces the sudden release of energy associated with lever-style binders, which improves operator safety on heavy chain assemblies. Forged-steel winged grab hooks on each end seat onto 8mm Grade 70 chain links with cradles that prevent chain deformation. Manufactured from steel and webbing with a powder-coated blue finish, rated to a 3,800kg lashing capacity, and built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001.
