1976 Land Rover Forward Control 101, 7900KM, ex militaryRadio vehicle, 3.5L Rover V8 engine, left hand driver, 24 Volt. This example was laid up in storage for a period before being sympathetically recommissioned and returned to the road. The engine has been fully serviced, the brakes overhauled, and it has since been regularly used and enjoyed. A very usable and honest example that retains plenty of original character, complete with a recently fitted hood and excellent presence on the road. This 101 Forward Control remains largely original and retains plenty of its military character. Unlike many examples, it appears never to have required major structural repairs and presents as a very solid truck throughout. It also comes with a large amount of original radio equipment boxed in the rear, which adds nicely to the vehicle’s originality and period feel, although the equipment has not been tested. A rare and increasingly hard-to-find example that’s ready to be used and enjoyed. The evehicle is tax and MOT exempt, although it does currently carry an MOT.
