SPECIFICATION: Shawtrack Bodywork Battery and electro-hydraulic powerpack set up. The subframe and cross members are constructed using high grade steel box sections, with heavy duty unequal angle section side raves. The cross members are set at 305mm centres, this has proven to be the optimum spacing of ribs for this size of vehicle to support the bed whilst still maintaining greatest payload. HEADBOARD The headboard is of a full width steel frame with an aluminium plank infill to half cab height, approximately 650mm. Ladder rack steel gantry to cab height infilled with galv mesh. Load binder racks and open mesh chain trays. LED beacons and work lights to top corners of headboard. MAIN DECK & DECKING The main deck is built to maximum legal length (subject to chassis and Type Approval limitations) and 2480mm width. The deck is overlaid with lightweight, high strength 22mm kerruing flooring. Four x 5tonne lashing rings per side mounted on the flat deck. Two x 5tonne lashing rings installed each side on the beavertail. 800 mm Daken plastic toolbox mounted beneath body N/S. Single pair of aluminium dropsides to front of deck, approximately 1.75m long X 400mm high. Twin strap and post edge protection full length of body. Adjustible height ball and pin tow hitch with 24V 13pin electrics to match chassis. RAMPS Full width, hydraulic double flip ramps with a 3m open length to give an optimum loading angle when lowered. Ramp faced with HD mesh and V rubber to centre. 3 sets of auto swing down ramp feet for added support when loading and unloading. Powered by a failsafe hydraulic system containing burst valves on ram ports and valve block terminal with integrated check valve within. Single push button controls located underbody N/S. WINCH Warrior C4000EN, or similar, electric winch is mounted at the front of the deck as far forward as possible protected by framework to each side of the unit. Supplied with wander lead control as standard.
